About the Panthers Girls Hockey Program
The Panthers was created to provide a program for girls to learn and enjoy the game of hockey.  Girls from Haverhill, Pentucket, and North Andover (“HPNA”) currently participate in the Panthers program, which consists of U10, U12, and U14 teams.  Since 2009, the Panthers teams have been very successful in developing young players’ skills and preparing them to play the game at a higher level.

2016/2017 Season
NAYHL will have the following teams for the 2016/2017 season:

U10 and U12: games-only teams, which will play +/- 12 games in the Middlesex Yankee Girls League (http://www.mycgl.com/). These teams include NAYHL girls that are participating on co-ed teams, other girls from North Andover not currently playing in NAYHL, and girls from the Haverhill/Pentucket program.

U14: full time, regular season team.  The U14’s will play +/- 25 games in the MYCGL and will have two practices per week.

The teams compete in the Middlesex Yankee Conference Girls League (MYCGL), an all-girls youth hockey league. The MYCGL has provided a competitive environment for girls hockey since 2002 and consists of over 150 teams.

Since the program was formed in 2009, the Panthers have earned the following:

  • 2011/2012: U12 MA State Championship
  • 2011/2012: U14 MYCGL Championship
