Welcome to the North Andover Youth Hockey League!

NAYHL Mission Statement

NAYHL provides children residing in North Andover, and neighboring towns without a hockey program, the opportunity to skate in an organized program. NAYHL is a non-profit organization of volunteers, dedicated to providing a challenging, fun-filled experience on the ice; first in our Learn to Skate program and eventually in our full-time hockey programs.  NAYHL is dedicated to the education of our children through the guidance and development of their mental, emotional and physical well-being in a positive, competitive environment. There is an abiding commitment to the promotion of each child's positive self-image and development, as well as to the challenges and enjoyment of this athletic activity. The program's philosophy emphasizes the value of teamwork, discipline, integrity, leadership, sportsmanship and tolerance of one's own, as well as other's abilities, limitations and successes. Our Board of Directors, Officers, Coaches, Sponsors and Managers are committed to this mission. Hopefully, all of our players and parents are as well.

Erika Hammar Skating Clinic

North Andover Youth Hockey is very excited to announce a partnership with Erika Hammar to offer a skating clinic at the Lawrence Valley Forum at the end of the season.  The session is open to all players from Learn to Play through the current squirt age group.

Erika has 22 years of coaching experience. She has coached and developed Regional, Sectional, National and International Competitors.  She has trained under a master rated Olympic coach as well as a US Skating Hall of Fame member. Erika competed nationally and internationally in synchronized skating where she won 4 Sectional Titles, 3 National Titles and 2 International Bronze Medals. Erika teaches various disciplines of skating such as Power and Edge Skating for Hockey Players.  Various players within our program have worked with Erika or attended one of her skating clinics before.

The 4-week program with North Andover will focus on power and edge skating for young hockey players.  This would be a great way for the kids to wrap up their seasons as the sessions will run after the mite playoffs have completed and would be at the tail end of the squirt playoffs if teams were to advance to the final rounds.
